Executive Courses - Australian Graduate School
of Management
Australian Graduate School of Management Executive Programs
Strategic Human Resource Management
Location
Sydney
Dates of course
4 – 9 November
Course Overview
In an age where value is increasingly created by scarce and skilled
personnel, the management of human resources is critical to organisational
success. At the same time, the attitude of the workforce is changing,
people are becoming more critical of their employers, demanding
and mobile. Organisations themselves are evolving to new forms and
structures which are potentially more productive, yet more fragile.
Consequently, the role and responsibilities of HR management are
both expanding and highly visible to executive management. Strategic
Human Resource Management is designed to enable participants
to apply a unique, practical and comprehensive approach to the strategic
management of people in their own organisation. Participants will
learn new techniques for managing people and identify pathways to
enhanced performance and sustainable long term success. The knowledge
and skills gained from this program will allow participants to become
effective, strategic HR leaders.
